Target Daily Deals kicks off Black Friday early October 6

The fall season has barely begun, yet one retailer is already considering Black Friday. Target just announced that the Target Deal Days event will return on October 6 to kick off the holiday season. The three-day event will kick off site-wide deals for 4K TVs, toys, home décor and other daily essentials.

Keep in mind that these are not official Black Friday deals. Instead, they’re peeking at what we can expect from Target during the November holiday season. It’s similar to the rumored Amazon Prime early access sale, which is also expected to start sometime in October.

Black Friday is one of the biggest retail holidays of the year. Traditionally held on the Friday after Thanksgiving, retailers have extended it for an entire season beginning nowadays in October.

Guaranteed target price match for a longer period

In addition to early sales, Target also confirmed that its holiday price-matching guarantee will run from October 6 through December 24. This means that if you buy something within that time frame and find a better price elsewhere, you can reach out to Target for a price adjustment. The retailer also offers same-day services such as free order pickup and free Drive Up. Both options allow you to receive your order in less than two hours with no minimum purchase required. If you prefer to have your items shipped, Target will continue to offer same-day delivery (on select products) via Shipt.
